Pricing

You pay for the footage
you upload.
Revisions are free, forever.

A credit is one minute of source footage. A 42-minute interview costs 42 credits — once, when the video finishes. It costs the same whether you ask for one change or twenty, and shorts cut from a video you already paid for cost nothing at all.

Charged once, per finished video Never charged for a job you stopped No card needed to start

Rate ladder: from $0.083 a minute on the smallest top-up pack to $0.020 a minute on Studio Business. Every number on this page is a setting in the product, listed at the bottom.

The unit, before the price Minutes in, not renders out. Every other tool in this category bills per output — per generation, per export, per opaque credit. That charges you for iterating, and iterating is what editing is. Studio bills the length of the file you handed it, so the cost is knowable before you upload and does not move afterwards.
Ask for changes until it is right A job is charged once. The charge runs when a video reaches done, and it is idempotent per job id — a retry, a restart or a second render never charges twice. Revisions and shorts never call it at all.
The four tiers

Pick by how much footage you put in each month, not by how many videos you want out.

Every tier edits the same way. What changes is the allowance, how long we keep your footage, how many videos run at once, and how quickly yours start.

What a higher tier actually buys

Minutes are the allowance. Speed is the product.

Three levers move up the tiers, and each one has a name you will see in the app rather than in a config file.

Shorter videos go first A video estimated under 15 minutes of work starts ahead of longer ones. On Pro and Business that head start is included. jobs under 15 min are eligible — how the estimate works
Up to 12 videos at once Parallel working is one setting per account: 1 video on Free, 2 on Creator, 5 on Pro, 12 on Business. Business also gets a third editor reserved for it. counted per account on every plan — the honest limits table
It works out what your video is about On Free and Creator it edits to the rulebook. On Pro and Studio Business it understands the footage first and then shows you the structure it found, which is what makes example-matched style and script spellings work on your material. the difference between the two, in full — how the planning works
Storage, in real terms rather than gigabytes
Free keeps your footage for 7 days, Creator 30, Pro 90 and Business 365. A 30-minute job is about 2.4 GB, so a 90-day Pro window is roughly 35 half-hour podcasts sitting on the server, ready to re-cut.

Rollover is capped at the plan allowance, so unused minutes never stack beyond one month of Creator, two of Pro or three of Business.

Top-up packs

If you will not subscribe, buy minutes instead.

Minutes are the unit, so a top-up is just minutes. They work on every tier including Free, they apply immediately, and they never expire.

Selected

60 minutes for $5 — applies immediately, never expires.

Billing

Plans are billed month by month.

There is no yearly checkout. Unused monthly minutes still roll over for the months listed on each tier.

Honest limits

Every hard cap, in one place.

Most tools hide their constraints until you hit them. These are ours, volunteered in advance, because a limit you knew about is an inconvenience and a limit you discover is a betrayal.

The one that surprises people
A job has 24 hours of wall-clock time, and an upload with no byte for 6 hours stops counting against your concurrent-video cap. Neither of those is a plan limit — they are the same on every tier.

Questions

The billing questions, answered without hedging.

These are the ten decisions we had to make before we could charge anyone. Here is what we decided and why.

Do unused monthly minutes roll over?

Yes. One month on Creator, two on Pro, three on Business, capped at your plan allowance so they never stack beyond a month, two months or three months of credits. It rewards staying without creating a refund liability for us.

Do top-up minutes expire?

No. Never. It is the simplest rule to explain and the honest answer to "did I waste money?" — you did not. A pack bought in March is still there in December, on any tier including Free.

Which minutes are spent first?

Your monthly allowance first, then your top-ups. That order protects the thing that expires and preserves the thing that does not, so you keep the minutes you paid for outright.

What happens if I downgrade?

You keep your top-ups, and you keep your unused monthly minutes until the end of the period you already paid for. After that the balance drops to the new tier's allowance. We do not confiscate minutes you paid for.

What happens if I cancel?

The service runs to the end of the paid period, so nothing stops mid-month. Your footage is kept for your tier's retention window and then follows the Free window of 7 days. No hostage-taking, and no sudden deletion on the day you cancel.

Can I get a refund?

Pro-rata within 7 days if no job has run. After that we do not refund, because editing has already consumed real server time on your footage — a 30-minute interview occupies the machine for about 75 minutes. Stopping a job yourself before it finishes charges nothing, which is usually the better move.

What happens if I go over my allowance?

Nothing is charged automatically, ever. The upload is refused with the exact shortfall, and you get three exits: add a 60-minute top-up for $5, upgrade to the next tier, or upload only the part of the footage that fits. See what happens when you run out.

Am I charged for a job that fails?

No. The charge only runs when a video reaches done. A job that fails, is stopped, or is abandoned part-way costs nothing, and the error report tells you what happened so you can decide whether to continue.

Am I charged twice if I retry?

No. A job is charged once, and the charge is keyed to the job id. Continuing a stopped job, re-running the render or asking for a change all keep the same job, so the same minutes are never taken twice.

Can I buy seats for my team?

Not yet. There is one seat per account today, and Studio Business gets shared team editing defaults before it gets seats — because designing seats before organizations exist would produce the wrong thing. If you need several people editing under one brand now, talk to us and we will set up the accounts properly.

Your first 30 minutes are free.

One real episode, edited end to end, with as many revisions as you want. No card, no trial countdown, no watermark. If the tier you picked turns out to be wrong, moving between them does not cost you the minutes you already bought.
