Calculator

Work out which
tier you need.

Most people overbuy. Put your real numbers in — the footage you actually shoot in a month, not the footage you hope to shoot — and this will name the cheapest tier that covers it.

Nothing is sent anywhere Every number is on this page You can check the arithmetic

It runs in your browser, from the four plan values in the table further down. Nothing is stored and nothing is submitted until you fill in the form at the bottom.

Why this page exists A tier is a number of minutes, not a personality. Editing does not get better on a higher tier. What changes is the allowance, how long your footage is kept, how many videos run at once and how quickly yours start. If you do not need those, you do not need the tier.
The unit A credit is one minute of the footage you upload. So the calculator only needs one number from you that really matters: how many minutes of source footage you put in each month. Revisions and shorts from a paid video cost nothing, so they never enter the arithmetic.
Your numbers

Four questions, and the panel updates as you type.

Drag the slider or type a number. Nothing here is a commitment and nothing is remembered — reload the page and it starts again.

A weekly 45-minute podcast is about 195 minutes a month. Five hours is 300. Thirty-three hours is 2,000.
Videos a week
Count every finished video, including the shorts you publish on their own. This only sets a floor when the average video is five minutes or longer.

If you need more than 6,000 minutes a month, the top tier plus stacked top-up packs is the honest answer, and a reserved lane is worth a conversation — book a demo.

The rate is the price divided by the minutes included, so it does not assume you use all of them. Annual prices are two months free — $100, $500 and $1,000.

How we worked this out

Every tier, every number the calculator uses.

It stands alone without the calculator. If you would rather do the arithmetic yourself, this is all of it.

The five rules behind the panel

  • Minutes round up. The recommendation is the smallest tier whose allowance covers the minutes you typed. 300 minutes is Creator; 301 minutes is Pro.
  • Shorter videos going first starts at Pro. Ticking it sets the floor at Pro whatever the minutes say.
  • Keeping footage longer than 30 days starts at Pro. Creator keeps 30 days, Pro 90, Studio Business 365.
  • Videos a week only sets a floor when the average video is 5 minutes or longer. A 90-second clip does not need a reserved lane. The tiers run 1 / 2 / 5 / 12 videos at once, so 16 or more real videos a week lands on Studio Business.
  • Above 5,000 minutes, the allowance tops out. Extra minutes are priced as top-up packs at $20 per 300 minutes — $0.067 a minute — and they never expire.

The calculator does not model rollover. It recommends the cheapest monthly tier for the month you described. Plans are billed month by month. Pricing has the rest.

Worked examples, so you can check it
195 minutes a month, 1–2 videos a week → Creator, 105 minutes left over, $0.033 a minute.
900 minutes a month, 3–5 videos a week → Pro, 1,100 minutes left over, $0.025 a minute.
2,400 minutes a month, any number of videos → Studio Business, 2,600 minutes left over, $0.020 a minute.
5,200 minutes a month → Studio Business, then 200 minutes over: one 300-minute pack for $20.
The honest warning If you are between two tiers, take the lower one for a month. Unused minutes roll over on every paid tier — one month on Creator, two on Pro, three on Studio Business — and you can buy a top-up the day you run out. Moving up later costs the difference, not the allowance you already used.
Or we will do it with you

Tell us what you record and we will reply with a tier, a price and a time.

Useful if your footage is unusual — a two-hour live session, a folder of clips from a shoot, a series with a fixed look. We will look at your actual numbers and say which tier fits, including when the answer is Free.
